PRP or Platelet-rich plasma is a special material that accelerates healing after injection. Plasma is a part of your blood that contains specific factors and proteins that will help to make blood clots. Some kinds of proteins have supportive roles in cell growth. Different studies have been done about isolating plasma from blood and concentrating it. Plasma factors will stimulate damaged tissue to grow and build new healthy cells.

the potential side effects of PRP?

Like all kinds of injections, PRP can have side effects. PRP is autologous, which means it contains substances that come directly from your own body and this reduces the chances for allergic reactions that may happen after treatment.
